While we're not primarily in the business of buying and selling horses, we do have the occasional horse available for sale or lease.  If you're in the market for a horse, and don't see one here that fits your needs, let us know -- we always seem to know LOTS of reliable people with horses to sell.

We encourage inexperienced folks to consider leasing a horse before taking the big plunge -- sort of a try-before-you-buy deal that gives you the benefits of having your own horse without the expense and commitment of full ownership.  Horses may be leased here at The Stables on a full or part-time basis; most owners offer flexible arrangements to suitable riders.

Hitman

Bay QH/grade gelding, 17 years old, 13.2 hh

Hitman is a regular school pony here at The Stables whose owner is offering a half-lease -- that is, someone who would like a share of Hitman's time.  This versatile, sturdy little pony is suitable for advanced beginners and up (max. 5'6" tall and 145 lbs.) for dressage, jumping, and mounted games, and could be ridden cross-country or foxhunted by more experienced riders.  Click here to read more about Hitman.
